Protector Mode
The plot thickens...
If I use Chrome, the Protector setting works properly (stays off when I turn it off).
If I use Internet Explorer, it still stays on even when I turn it off.
You gave me an idea though... I only use Chrome
I normally use the https://hostname.antsle.us to get to my servers. I connected via xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:3000 and guess what... it stays the switch stays off when I refresh. So more weirdness... Maybe the devs can get a handle on it now...

...and now when connecting via https, it stays off after setting it to off under http...
I have turned it back on and off several times and it stays set now. So it seems you fixed yours when https would not connect for you.
