GitLab on CentOS7 - No package gitlab-ce available

I've been trying to set up GitLab Community Edition on a CentOS7 antlet by following the instructions via this link:

https://docs.antsle.com/get-started/setting-up-your-tech-stack

When I try and run "yum install -y gitlab-ce"

I get the error: No package gitlab-ce available.

Has anyone else had this issue? I'm not able to find a solution online.

One thing I did notice is in the setup guide it says to spin up a CentOS7 KVM but the only CentOS template available to download is an LXC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

There may be an update in their documentation that we haven't reflected yet. Here's a link to their website where they describe the install process. Let me know if that works.

Hi, it looks like I'm having the same issue as the OP. I'm using an Antsle Nano and it looks like gitlab does not provide an arm package that will work on our platform. Can an Antsle engineer confirm this?

Also having the same issue as above, documentation at gitlab is pretty much the same and not helpful.

I think jsquare79 might be right about the arm package, is there any further update?

So I ended up installing Ubuntu 20.04 LXC and then following the instuctions here: https://computingforgeeks.com/how-to-install-gitlab-ce-on-ubuntu-linux/

Edit: Above did not work, still fighting with it, will post further update if I get it figured out for anyone else running into this issue.

That being said, if there was a Centos 8 LXC or KVM template, gitlab does have the arm 64 package available, and the instructions provided by Antsle would work (Just a change from Centos 7 to 8.)
