empty syslog in Ubuntu container
With the ubuntu container, /var/log/syslog is empty. I tried creating a couple of containers in case it was something I inadvertently broke, but even with a completely new container syslog is empty. The rsyslog configuration appears to be correct but I don't know enough about the interactions of the different logging utilities to know how to diagnose this. I really need syslog to work.
