Import VMs from Hyper-V
I am moving some of my VMs off of my laptop, running Hyper-V, onto my Antsle. As I understand this I:
- Convert the vm to a qcow2.
- Copy the file to the Antsle.
- Import it as a template.
- Create an Antlet.
My question is...Once I get the Antlet up and running, do I need to keep the template?

Here are steps to create template:
- Convert vm to qcow2.
- Attach the qcow2 as virtual disk.
- Start the antlet and make sure it runs.
- Create snapshot on the antlet.
- From the snapshot, you can create template.
