Import VMs from Hyper-V

I am moving some of my VMs off of my laptop, running Hyper-V, onto my Antsle. As I understand this I:

  1. Convert the vm to a qcow2.
  2. Copy the file to the Antsle.
  3. Import it as a template.
  4. Create an Antlet.

My question is...Once I get the Antlet up and running, do I need to keep the template?

Hi Djurden:

Here are steps to create template:

  1. Convert vm to qcow2.
  2. Attach the qcow2 as virtual disk.
  3. Start the antlet and make sure it runs.
  4. Create snapshot on the antlet.
  5. From the snapshot, you can create template.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks.
