Using noVNC with Linux KVM and KDE desktop
Has anyone successfully changed the default screen resolution of a KDE desktop using noVNC? I have tried a couple different Linux distributions and changing the resolution will always fail and defaults back to 1024x768. I have no issues with GNOME distributions. I have a couple 5K LG monitors on my Mac and I like the simplicity of opening a console with noVNC but 1024x768 won't cut it. Local scaling 1024x768 is not a pretty option.
Ok I found out there is a problem with the KScreen 2 service when using VM's. The recommendation was to go to system settings and under workspace find the startup shutdown services and uncheck Kscreen 2. This worked for me.
