Some background on myself.
Recently purchased an Antsle Nano with the antMan Essential Plan.
Only starting to get into development.
I decided to go with the Antsle Nano to learn more about networking, development, etc...
But I am stumped on getting domain names setup.
Here is what I have done so far.
1) Plugged the Nano in, letting it boot, setup etc..
2) determined it's IP via router, and logged in via 192.XXX.X.XX:3000 with defaults (myantsle.local does not work)
3) ssh'd [email protected] to run upgrade-edgelinux and upgrade-antman
4) following: https://youtu.be/uk107Vc1sMI
Setup a wp template on an antlet 10.1.1.XX
with portforwarding in antman 192.XXX.X.XX:8010 to 10.1.1.XX:80
5) adjusted my domain's A Record to point to my home ip address TH.ISM.YHOM.IP
6) adjusted portforwarding rules on my Router TCP 80 and 443 to 192.XXX.X.XX 80 and 443 respectively
7) created my /etc/nginx/virtualhosts/mydomain.io.conf and pointed the proxy_pass to my antlet 10.1.1.XX
8) ran "service nginx restart"
What works - My domain is pointing at TH.ISM.YHOM.IP (Verified my pinging the ip)
- I am able to view WP via 192.XXX.X.XX:8010
- when I visit http://TH.ISM.YHOM.IP it redirects me to http://TH.ISM.YHOM.IP/login which is the sign in for the AntsleNano
- IF I set my Router's portforwarding from 80 and 443 to 192.XXX.X.XX:8010 I see my wordpress. (however my understanding was Antman could handle routing via reverse proxy, if I setup a .conf to which points to my antlet)
What doesn't work - http://TH.ISM.YHOM.IP:8010
- http://mydomain.io
What I need
Any advise on how to move forward would be greatly appreciated.
Specifically, Getting my my domain to point to the antlet containing my WP.
