Long story, had to reinstall edgeLinux. Following that I can only get the server to operate with a single network connection. If I connect and enable a second bridge the server can't connect to any network. (The IPMI address, however IS live through br0.). I'm trying to stay out of the edgelinux config files so haven't tried monkeying with the openvswitch config (which I think is where the problem is).
Possibly related, if I try and attach a bridge to a vm, the VM fails to connect on the network. In the VM I've tried debian and centos and can't get either to see the bridged network. Both are fine after first boot, before configuring the bridged device. But when configing I either don't get an address if using DHCP, or all networking stops if using a static address.
any ideas?
