Adding hard drives to antsle

Has anyone added hard drives to their antsle after purchase?

I have installed two drives and they are not visible in the BIOS or the OS.

As part of servicing an antsle One Pro, I had replaced one HDD that had gone bad.

After replacing, both the OS and edgeLinux were able to see the drive.  After that, I added the drive back into the addon zpool where it was resilvered (mirrored) from the good HDD.

I'm not sure why the BIOS wouldn't be able to see new drives.  Perhaps the SATA cable needed to be reseated or replaced?
