How do we do it?
The antsle difference:
An antlet is our concept of an 'instance' (AWS) or 'droplet' (DigitalOcean). It is a complete virtual server, that looks and feels like a (physical) server of its own.
You get to pick for each antlet how it's implemented: either as a VM (the *only* way to go on AWS, DO, OpenStack, ...) or using container technology based on LXC. The latter - while only possible for Linux antlets - saves big on resources and it's what makes hosting 100+ antlets on one single antsle server possible in the first place.
